Fleetwood, I took a graduate course at Univ of MD on visual communication. The 
Ad Council found that when they ran a campaign to decrease teen drunk driving, 
it was useless to include a pic of skull and crossbones. Because young people, 
on some deep level, think of themselves as invincible. So they changed the 
posters to read "Friends don't let friends drive drunk," a campaign which 
reached young people. Because they're all about peer group.
