Rick, in both cases, if you look, you'll see it's been moified. With Knole's version, Maharishi was simply deleted. With the other version, a rather huge picture (both absolute size and relative to perspective) of SSRS has been pasted over Maharishi's tiny figure.
It's a rather strange way of doing things in both cases, while I though Maharishi's original design was carefully thought out to highlight that he's off to the side, standing reverentially instead of seated, and is only indirectly partaking of the "river of knowledge" that everyone else in the painting is directly in contact with.
