salyavin, I LOVE museums of natural history. If I had known about them when I
was a kid, I never would have gone to school. Simply would have visited the
Smithsonian etc. over and over. What a great way to learn about the world! All

One of the most interesting dinosaur shows I saw was at the Natural History
Museum, it was a display of dinosaur/bird missing links found in China. The
fine limestone they'd been preserved in captured all their feathers and teeny
teeth, you could even see where they'd eaten something and it had scratched
their beaks.This little chap would have fitted in there nicely.
One in the eye for creationists too, no transitional fossils indeed!
The best thing about this Stegosaurus for me is that it's a real skeleton
unlike most of the ones on display which are plaster casts. I get an extra
thrill from seeing one that was actually walking around on Earth 150 million
years ago when the human race wasn't even a twinkle in Mother Nature's eye.
