I love good writing. Here's some I stumbled upon on Digg, because I couldn't 
get past its teaser line and just *had* to click on it:

Cool, thought I. During at least a couple of periods of my life I have been an 
appreciator of fine sharp-edged weapons, so I decided to read it. As I 
continued, I found to my delight that it was less about the sharp edge of 
knives than it was the sharp edge of good writing. It was a treatise on the 
creative process itself, backtracking the author's discovery of the idea that 
provides the pivotal point of his novel, "Wolf in White Van." 

Suffice it to say that I was so knocked out by this Buzzfeed article that I 
immediately ordered the novel. It sounds *wonderful* to me:
