Well maybe, but that doesn't explain why you haven't enjoyed sex in years,
being single and all. I make love to Rita every single week and we both enjoy
it. It's all good. Go figure.

I think that old scriptural stuff about sex were primitive methods of birth

be multiplying almost like rabbits. Today we know better.

Well, actually our Sanskrit teacher and our S.C.I. (high school precursor to
Vedic Science) teacher would spend long days talking to us about the dangers of
masturbation, sex before marriage, sex before turning 25 (when 'our brains
would be fully developed') and that sexual release would slow our brain power
and also alter our physiology in ways that would make it harder to transcend
through TM and thus harder to reach enlightenment.

These topics were covered extensively through grade 7 through 9, and were
touched on in 10 through 12 briefly. These ideas were pulled directly from
vedic scripture, and from Maharishi's talks on subjects like sex and how to
keep the physiology pure for optimum ability to transcend during meditation.

So whether or not you want to talk about the TM movement's open views about
sex or not, this is what was taught to us at Maharishi School of the
Enlightenment (MSAE), in Fairfield, Iowa, which sits on the campus of Maharishi
University of Management. MSAE is one of the flagship, shining stars in the TMO
fleet, as you have pointed out in your other post, so I hope you aren't about
to back-peddle and say that TM has nothing to do with MSAE.

I will let the rational, non-weasel, non-TM-apologists in this thread decide
for themselves what the TMO has to say about sex.
