From what I've read, Jehovah's Witnesses are not very big on inoculations, so it's probably a good thing you were home-schooled, but it's unfair to blame your condition on Janet or Jermaine.
As far as the "enlightenment", that's not saying much since almost everyone in the U.S. is enlightened compared to you, since most children got their shots at the public school when they were three or four.
