Some thing evidently is going on with some tightening of Dome badge renewals in
Fairfield. An old meditator/TM teacher whohas long been a regular attender of
the group meditation in the Domeswho I know from Fairfield Quaker Meeting is
beingturned out and cast off from his long communal affiliation with TM as the
result. Meanwhile the Dome meditation numbers arethemselves left spare.
As it turns out, my current badge to be in the Dome meditation and also go
toour movement meetings expired yesterday.
I had been re-admitted the Domemeditation three years ago on an exemption to
the TM anti-saint policiesin a process conducted then by John Hagelin, an
exemption which readthat I was, 1. Free to see saints for reasons of my health
and 2. Bein the Dome program so long as I was not practicing other
spiritualpractices in the Dome. Simple.
Administratively now they let my badge gofallow yesterday. I am no longer valid
in the TM community with thepassing of the last day of February. I had
re-applied to update mybadge sticker about 5 weeks ago and was told it normally
does nottake long and they would get back to me by phone or e-mail.Effectively
I am now a TM movement no-badge-nik.
Reduced in rank again, to just 'meditator' inFairfield, Iowa,
Never mind Buck, make the most of it and go on holiday. Or use the time to
really get involved in something else of a spiritual nature. If you're like me
you'll find that doing hours of prog each day is a waste of time and TM 20X20
is more than enough to coast you through the day. In fact, it's way more
effortless than the trudge to the dome to sit around hoping for a breakthrough
to make it all worthwhile.
And to be totally honest, I was much happier when I stopped the TMSP because
after 10 years of practise I realised it's a lot of effort for nothing much and
it made me feel worse then vanilla TM but I was just programmed to tell myself
that "something good was happeneing". Quitting the programming to stop doing it
is tough though because of the subliminal guilt they pile on but the freedom
you get from having more time in your day more than makes up for that. Most of
the effects of the TMSP are hopes and beliefs about what it is doing to you,
not experiences and especially not experiences of what it's supposed to be
achieving for you.
Medatation is about freedom and, it looks like the TMO has given you yours. Fly
away and pray you don't end up like the dome nazis. They aren't worth your time.

they are just friends.
I'd like to know how much of an issue it is still. I bet TM teachers are still
taught to be fiercely protective of the "knowledge" lest it gets diluted by
contact with inferior memes.
