I'm gonna try this again, since last night's message didn't come through.

We saw the fireworks last night, and they were, I may say, exceedingly
mediocre.

I am guessing that what makes them special would be the backdrop of the Statue
of Liberty, but from our vantage point inside the city, they were pretty
average.

And yes, there was a heavy police presence during that time, as I guess there
was talk of some event, but overall, the police presence was pretty average.

The highlight of yesterday's activities was the Observation Deck at the World
Trade Center.

This was more than your get off the elevator at the 105 th floor, and look
around.

Someone designed a pretty remarkable experience from the time you board the
elevator, until the time you exit.

Does New York look like an armed encampment. A bunch of self-important dorks

Got some funny directions leaving the museum trying to find the subway, and we
ended up walking two miles along the freeway, looking dow! n at the Hudson
River, before we finally found it.

Ain't a lot of green in NYC, but we had a nice stroll through Central Park.
