This has nothing to do with "Vedic Literature" - that generic catch-all title
of the glob-it-all-together yoga aficionados.

In Hindu and Buddhist yogic terminology, "bindu" signifies a point-essence in
the subtle physiology. Point-Essence here means indivisibility of prana and
manas at a very refined (causal) level.

The term "Blue Pearl" is just a pointer in the "Siddha Yoga" sampradaya-s to
the luminescence at the ajña chakra. In these lineages, absorption into the
"blue pearl" is only a stop-off into the casual realm (Karana-rupa Loka).

The actual goal is transit into/with the white-light at the upa-center of the
ajña-chakra and then dissolution into the foundational intelligence manifesting
the cosmos ( i.e. Parameshvara) while being transcendent to it.

Muktananda never transited through that "white-light bindu" but wanted to play
around in the casual "blue pearl" level because it gave "shakti".

That's how most yogi's operate. "Let me do some tapasya, let me get some shakti
(power) and then I'll rule over samsara."

This it the root intoxication (mada) that got us here in the first place.

Read it and weep for yer lost omniscience (sarvâjñana).
