I don't take seriously any candidate who has no political experience. Fiorina
has no chance. I don't know why she is even running. Same with Ben Carson. He
was a neurosurgeon, for heaven's sake. What makes him think that that qualifies
him to be president? He is also on record as saying that Obamacare is the worst
thing to happen to America since slavery, which gives you an idea of how
ill-qualified he is. As for Trump, he offers nothing at all.

I think, perhaps, a number of these people don't expect to be the next
President but they are there to make a statement, to bring out aspects of
policies or to present something in a new or different way as a means to
contribute personally to making America 'aware'. All 11 of those people last
night couldn't possibly believe they are going to be 'the one' to sit in the
White House in 2016. Ben Carson seems like a decent human and perhaps feels
like he has something to contribute during the process of electing the next
President or wants to stand as another black presidential candidate. I only
just started following this and may not continue for long. It all depends upon
how entertaining or even enlightening it is to watch it all unfold. I feel
pretty distant/removed from the daily life unfolding south of my border but I
should see if I am still a validly registered voter in the state of California.
I would like to vote. But if I do I guess it means I better keep following the
toing and froing of the political scene in the US.

I think it's arrogant of people who have never held political office to think
they can come from nowhere and do the job of president, which requires enormous
political knowledge and skills that cannot be learned overnight. My bet is that
as the months go by, Rubio and Bush will emerge as the leaders. Were I Hillary,
I would be worried about Rubio, who is young and smart, and could make it a
generational thing to undermine Hillary. Bush is nothing to get excited about
but he has money and insider support, polls be damned.

There is so much that can happen between now and November 8 2016. Hell, some
of those candidates might be dead by then!

Fiorina is easy to beat. Just trot out some of the thousands who lost their
jobs when she ran HP. She's going nowhere.

She was given accolades by the reviewers of the debate, saying she was strong
as was Rubio that night. I am not sure she is running for CEO of a company;
Prez of the USA needs to be a lot more than that. Going over one's past
accomplishments running a business is a relative waste of time and not
completely relevant to the subject at hand. Watching Donald trumpet on about
his purported business acumen was not only boorish but just more of his same
old, same old braggadocious hot air.

If only it were that easy.<I listened to part of the *debate*. I thought it was
kind of funny. *So and so said this about you. What are you going to say about
them?*Kind of what I expected. It all kind of reminded me of Junior high
school. However, I did like Carly Fiorina! I had heard very little about her
prior but wanted to hear more. I liked her responses. I thought she was very
sharp and together. And, she's from Austin!

You might be right, then what would those no-good leeches on American society
do then? I guess turn back and go home to Trump or no Trump. BTW, did you
listen to the debate tonight?
