But the Pilgrims were immigrants and apparently helped and welcomed by the indigenous peoples at the time who aided them in all sorts of ways and so 90 Natives and 53 Pilgrims spent 3 days celebrating the first harvest. Sounds like these immigrants were treated better than some other countries as treating the Syrians and why not call "Thanksgiving" "Immigrants Day"?
