 That's a good idea.  However, if they're more advanced than us, they would 
know that danger.  So, maybe that would deter them from visiting our planet.
 

 On the other hand, they may have viral microbes that could decimate humans 
here on earth.  So, we'll just have to tackle this ET problem when it comes-- 
if it ever comes.

You needn't worry. It is estimated that the human microbiota contains as many 
as 1014 bacterial cells, a number that is 10 times greater than the number of 
human cells present in our bodies. That is just One human body. 

Invading ex-T species would likely die and die quickly with any exposure to the 
earthly bio-atmosphere. Even if they wore "space suits" that would not protect 
them once they took them off. 

This is why NASA is concerned about potential martian microbes still lurking in 
martian soil. Bringing them back to Earth could unleash a microbiome 
Armageddon.
