I don't think there is one thing that is "the answer".
Or to put my point another way perhaps, for some people Vedic knowledge and philosophy, Buddhism, humanism or whatever may provide the answers, there are beautiful attempts at explaining Life - but for me it is lacking as it does not provide what I know is there..
