Interesting. Hagelin's numbers are iffy at best. Not sure Iowa as a whole is any more enlightened than surrounding states. Not sure either what the supervisor meant when he said that someone learned TM and the TM people didn't want him to go back to his family. Never heard that before. As for the fellow who thought he was being brainwashed: in fact, he was being presented with a certain view of life that he was free to accept or reject. Malloy is right that it's a great place to live, but there is also a housing shortage that make it harder for firms to attract employees, and also the population is on the old side, even for Iowa.
