Putin apparently has befuddled many pundits about his recent move. In political terms, he may have foreseen a possible war in the region and he does not want his country to be involved in the conflict. In astrological terms, he is correct. As mentioned before, the malefic planets Saturn and Mars are now in conjunction in Scorpio. By summer of this year, the two planets will be in a very tight conjunction. There is a great chance of conflict in the Middle East at that time. The current struggle of the oil price in the global market could be the cause of the conflict.
