Animals live on instincts and not by conscious existence. I don't believe that scientists are finding animals to be evolving into intelligent creatures like human beings. But there are animals, like the primates, which are very similar to the humans, particularly in DNA makeup. If humans ever disappear on earth through wars or natural catastrophe, it's possible that the primates could eventually evolve like the intelligent apes on the movie, Planet of the Apes. Also, humans could eventually develop into cyborgs.
