Well, they couldn't. You see, places that sell alcohol, usually are required by
law to be *gun free zones*. There are very stiff penalties for carrying a fire
arm in a bar.The safest place for a terrorist to attack anyone is in a *gun
free zone*. Nobody can shoot back. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. BTW,
the overwhelming majority of guns on the market today, can be fired just as
rapidly. Most are semi-automatic, as was his. All it takes is one well placed
shot to stop the aggressor.
Perhaps one or two well placed *licensed to carry* plain cloths guards should
be required to be on duty in such venues. Police love to do such work as part
time jobs.When airlines were getting hi-jacked on a regular basis, the
government hired air marshals to fly, in plain clothing, on many flights to
deter hi- jacking. It worked.
The good news is, LGBT people are starting to arm themselves. AR-15s flying off
the shelves, as well as other fire arms. And they are getting the training to
handle them properly!Jihadis will have to think a little more carefully next
time. A new flag is popping up all over. A rainbow flag with the coiled rattle
snake and the words *Shoot Back* on it .LOL!

Pretty much didn't happen, did it? Even with the armed security guard at the
entrance it didn't happen and once a guy with a weapon with the capacity to
vomit out 30 bullets within half a minute or less there probably isn't a sane
person on the planet who would take that on with a regular gun. Evidently the
peaceful crowd at "Pulse" weren't carrying either.
