Yes, dear. Thank you, I already know all that stuff. That's why I thought Trump's "acid wash" comments were so funny.

It might even overwrite multiple times because drive heads aren't perfect at tracking and it has been possible to restore data that was still on the edge of a track. Digital shredding has been around for awhile. To be sure most shredding utilities will overwrite to military standard of 7 to 10 times so nothing can be retrieved. Do you have a reference for that, or is it just another bit of right-wing speculation? Platte River was instructed by Hillary's lawyers in December 2014 to delete the emails. (Copies of the emails that were deleted were stored elsewhere.) That did not happen. In March 2015, the preservation order was issued and Hillary's staff forwarded a copy to Platte River. The guy who had been tasked in December with deleting the emails realized he had never done so and proceeded to delete them using BleachBit, despite knowing about the preservation order. It's not clear why he ignored the order. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com mailto:FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, <mdixon.6569@...> mailto:mdixon.6569@... wrote : It was her lawyers that told the Platte River Guys to use *bleachbit*.
