Can't see a lot of use in such a list. Does anyone use such a

Isn't the search for a teacher of knowledge kind of like ice cream;

on the calories, but in both cases the ice cream remains the same?

It seems common sense to me.

There are teachings I received on what to look for in a master, how to approach a teacher, etc.
