you must be reading and buying into some nonsense like Paul Mason to imagine 
that Maharishi was ever an "upstart"  Brahmananda Saraswati interceded with his 
family to get them to allow him to join the ashram. Nothing upstart. If you 
think to resort to casteism to make some point be aware Maharishi was of the 
same caste as SWAMI Vivekanada.
