I didn't give very much attention to the website where I found the reference to MMY's education at Allahabad. As you know I am tracking historical data on Guru Dev and MMY. But I admit I was tickled by the reference to 'precisely because his followers are not critical, he gets away with a host of absurdities'. It is definitely true that many have accepted what MMY said on face value.
