There is a Nath teaching that turiyatita/CC is accomplished via the sahasara.

There seems to be something similar in Sri Vidya.

The intent of the "Seelisburg pranayama" however seemed to be to establish samashti kundalini--universal consciousness. Probably just wishful thinking.
