Interestingly enough, they count the Bhagavatam as Veda, just like the
Upanishad. MMY had said that the Bhagavatam could only be understood
when being in Unity. Not that you couldn't read it before. As such I
would not recommend the Hare Krishna version, but lets say the version
of the Ramakrishna Mission, who brought it out in 4 volumes, or the
one of the Gita Press, which many people in the movement had.
