Ah, the good ole H1B visa issues. My favorite example of the corruption surrounding the program is when someone put down on the application form that they were importing a bunch of computer programmers from India and paying them $4.75/hour and they got approval from immigration... ...for those who don't know, H1B is a special program to bring in technical worker- immigrants because there are "not enough" of them in the USA. The law says that they must be paid the prevailing US wage for the work that they are being asked to do in the USA, which, for computer programmers, is apparently less-than minimum wage...
