I do assume you have Auto Update on too? And sure ever so once in a while there are Linux updates. I think the problem is that MS uses *fear* tactics to get people to do the updates and patches. I like to review what they are doing and the messages are a bit over the top.
I also think it is wrong to let *one* corporation run all the computers in the world and believe that Linux is a better choice. Obvisously much of the rest of the world agrees as countries adopt Linux for their government desktops and networking systems.
