Many equate multi-level marketing with pyramid schemes, which is
incorrect: multi-level marketing can be legit. The distinction is
whether a new recruit can make a go of it selling whatever. That the
one hiring and training him receives a cut of his sales, is not
sinister. Its part and parcel of many sales organizations. And bonus
systems in much of corp america. If your division does wll, you get a
big bonus.
What makes pyramid a bad type of multi-level marketing is a new
recruit can only make a go of it by bringing in new recruits, not by
selling product.
