I got through both but never got the medal I thought I deserved for doing so. Recommendation: if you trudged through both of those, you deserve to read both Barbara Branden's and Nathaniel Branden's autobiographies of their lives with Rand. Both present a combination of love and respect for Rand and her philosoply along with salicious, delicious gossip about her affair with Nathaniel (when he was about 24 and she was -- ugh! -- about 56).
