In 1980 the world peace assembly in India Maharishi I am told kicked many people out of the movement and addressed those persons whom he believed to be CIA agents.
At that time the CIA had pretty much infiltrated the movement. With all of the talk that Maharishi has done lately regarding the US Government George Bush and Tony Blair I wonder if CIA is not perpetuating a lot of the negative information about Maharishi. For a guy who is all the things that we have heard and people like Earl Kaplan have written he really goes out of his way to work toward the benefit of others. He could just go back to India and never do anything again. Instead he is constantly looking to make a better impact on the world.
We all quote the ved, read the ved, listen to the ved, are able to relate vedic science to other sytems as well as daily practice and so forth. For year decades we have practiced these various techniques with what we have considered to be success. We have developed a discipline of meditation daily as part of our routine. Some have repoted various experiences of altered or heightened awareness. We dont know what we would be like if this had never happened so we think Oh how this has messed up my life or how this has not worked for me.
Someone living at home with parants as Earl Kaplan points out may have nothing to do with Maharishi blocking the person it may simply be a factor of the economic conditions of this time. I know that former presidents have tried to infiltrate and sabotage the tmo why would bush and blair not? In this time do people gain more by creating positive gossip about mmy or negative. The things that people are saying about Maharishi are quite similar to what the movement said about sri sri, deepak and anyone else who decidesto expound this knowledge.
SRI SRI had to be a fake according to the movement people because most of them were not having these experieinces so how could he? He did though Deepak did though and so have many other people. Its sad that Earl did not. Again we dont really know what is going on with the movement at any given time. Just as in life we can meet someone and not know that they are an agent in this same way we dont know who we are talking to or what their motive is. What is amazing is that Maharishi has been able to keep going for more than 50 years and keep a large following. What is amazing is that people have practiced these techniques for 30 40 50 years and continue to do so.............Something must be working..for someone.....
