I just checked here at the cafe, and it seems that my computer logged me in to not just the cafe's free WiFi connection, but *also* to a couple of unsecured connections from apartments in the vicinity. So it looks as if posts that I sent yesterday went out once to the server/ FFL Web viewer, but multiple times to the folks who read the list via email. Sorry. I think I've corrected it now.
