They can help. The British Isles has its fair share of people who are nuts or badly damaged. The difference is that they never carry guns. Guns are hard to get, and penalties very severe. (Five years for looking after a gun known by the Police to belong to someone else). If John Lennon had beeen living in London, he might have got vomited over, or hit with a chair leg.
