I suspect the loan indentured story to be more made-up unverifiable anti-TM propaganda, but if someone credible investigates it, then it would be interesting. The loan was for a SV house that each pundit was obligated to have built for his family. I don't know whether that means his own wife and kids, his parents, or what. I'll find out.
