Er, well, no, actually that would be the Globe and
Mail; "Canada's National Newspaper" has been its slogan
since about 1900 (it was founded in 1844 as The Globe).

The National Post has been around only since 1998. It
was started to compete with the Globe and Mail but
hasn't done very well, and there are rumors it's going
to be shut down.

Er, well, no, again, that would be the Globe and Mail
(which has been called "the Great Canadian Grey Lady,"
a reference to its similar status to the New York
Times).

The National Post is sort of halfway between a tabloid
and USA Today.
