I should point out that nowhere above do I suggest that *Edg* shouldn't pursue his quest for "one truth." He might be able to stumble on one, and might even be able to express it in such a way that it would be "grokable" by everyone. For me, given my beliefs, such an exercise *would* be silly. I've said as much here many times. And then Edg pretty much demanded that I do so anyway. He even qualified it by saying that it should be an "ultimate one truth." I declined. But I wait with 'bated breath to hear *his* "one truth." Or yours, Rory, should you wish to attempt one. Or anyone else who might wish to propose one. For all of you, such an exercise might *not* be silly. For me, it would be, so I won't be invited *or* badgered into it. That's all.
