Venus just seems to go backwards at some points in our orbit of the sun because we move at different speeds, it can't actually go backwards, honest! Do you know how venus got a reputation as the planet of love? Because of how beautifully serene it looks in the night sky. But with it's 400 mile an hour red-hot winds and flourosulphuric acid rain I wouldn't recomend as a good place for your honeymoon. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! I'm glad it's a good time for visiting old friends though, I wouldn't want to risk doing that when lumps of rock 20 million miles away weren't appearing to go backwards.
