good article, rick ... but this is the "serious" side of David Spero. i got to see him live this weekend at the San Francisco Zen Center. my primary impression of him was, this guy is just soo hilarious! cracking jokes the whole talk, and a very provacative, outrageous sense of humor. but also, the bright beaming light in his eyes; makes me think: this guy -is- enlightened, just like he says.
