Hi,
I'm still having difficulty adding another menu item. Here is
the xml in customadmin.xml. Can someone identify what is wrong here? Or
at least try it on your version.

On the link Goeff posted, look for CustomadminHowto.pdf.
The main theme is that the merging code looks at the ID attribute to
determine if a section/subsection/menu/menuitem is new or should be
merged with existing (in the core webtop).
