This is an IE-only issue, and changing the z-index will not help. My
solution has been to always modify the visibility of the dropdown. There
are several documented approaches on google. MM suggests moving the
dropdown elsewhere on the page
(http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_15842).

hi David and other folks tackling dropdowns,

I have a quick question about these. Take a look at our homepage:
http://farcry.achievementtech.com/

See how the dropdown menus go "behind" the state territory dropdown at top?
Can you think of a quick fix to make the dropdowns always move to the front?
Z-index or something?

thanks,
Jen
