How are you handling redirects (no pun intended)? My FUs are working
ok, such that you can hit
http://farcry.achievementtech.com/go/support-center and land on a
meaningful page, and I've created a 404 handler such that if you
misspell the FU you get an error page (e.g.
http://farcry.achievementtech.com/go/support). But what if someone is
using legacy URLs that they have hard-coded, like
http://farcry.achievementtech.com/join.cfm which should redirect to our
"join our community" form? Currently you are just sent back to the
homepage.

I have the dmRedirect type working in that I can add records via farcry
admin to the dmRedirect table. How do you configure your web site to
view that table and send people to the proper redirect page?
dmRedirect is a legacy content type from a much earlier version of FarCry possibly as far back as v1.x.  It's not something we use (at least at daemon) anymore.  So I'm not sure how much mileage you will get with the code ;)  That said, may work perfectly.

Typically we handle permanent redirects just using the redirect engine. Fro example IIS Redirect or Apache mod_rewrite.
