geoff, you are the man! Thanks... I actually just discovered late
yesterday that this is actually a Web Seal issue. My client is using
IBMs Web Seal as theier web site security... what it does is hides teh
site behinds itself and makes the calls on behalf of the user, when it
does that it adds the "fake" domain to all relative links... this isnt
a problem unless you save the content again. everytime you save it, it
appends another /sub1/sub2... Annoying. What im going to have to do
is either get the web seal people to turn that off if possible, OR
parse that out on save which requires coding in the core...
