well, I think part of the problem may be that when I made a folder (I'm on IIS) for the project in the farcry directory I called it "testsite" but I'd like to get to it via "http://pwp.flyingmountain.com"; and ... it seems like I need to rename "testsite" as "pwp.flyingmountain.com" so I did that, after I was having these issues. But it hasn't resolved it, probably because things are more complicated than they appear. So if you can help me find the places where pointers exist, that'd probably be helpful. I did use the installation guide very precisely, but it is tricky to understand the IIS setup for a new url...at least it seemed to be. - what directory did you set as the web root well _serverSpecificVars.cfm said "" but shouldn't it be "http://pwp.flyingmountain.com"; ? - what directory is your project installed to D:/farcry/pwp.flyingmountain.com (it was D:/farcry/testsite initially, then I renamed the directory.) - what directory is farcry_core installed to D:/farcry/ - what directory does your CF mapping point to D:/farcry/ So ...it seems simple but ... please help me fix this!
And also my question about speed - it takes seconds and seconds for just CF to process each page. Is that normal?? Thanks much!
