Background:
I have different industry segments on my site. For each industry I have a page that displays the Glossary words that relate to that industry. I am doing this with a publishing rule that matches the industry category assigned to the Glossary objects. Works great. Now I want to add a search form for the Glossary objects in that section. I see the _searchForm.cfm include in the webskin, and I could create my own to do the search, but how would it know what industry to match? I don't see a way to assign categories to the include objects in the site tree. Alternatively I could create a rule that displayed a search form, and assign the industry category in the rule like I have with the Glossary objects. Then the form could have the industry filter as a hidden field. Is it kosher to have a rule display a search form? Thanks for any direction you can provide.
