I just completely changed the core fckstyle.xml file and in fact deleted it and nothing happened. I restarted CF to be sure it wasn't cached and that didn't do any good either.
I give up for the minute..... Other more pressing jobs to deal with then I'll come back to this. > It seems to me that if you need to use a custom config for each site > runnning on the same farcry instance you would need to be passing in > the "config" variable to the Fckeditor component. However i'm not sure > where this is set in Farcry itself. > In the admin tab, under general, you'll find the config files. One of those config files is for FCKEditor. In there you can specify the path for the custom config file. When you load up a page in the admin which used a rich text editor it calls the core tag/widget richTextEditor. The widget uses the variables in the config file when its creating the fckeditor window. > I see you're up in Newcastle, i'm based down in Brighton. Do you know > of many other UK based Farcry-ers? > There are some, but I'm not sure who they are to be honest, other than the UKCFUG [1] uses farcry for its website. Have a look on the farcry frappr map [2] - there are a couple of people on there in the UK.
