Maybe this isn't the right place to post this but I'm hoping you guys can at least give me a start. Go to the url http://neinew2.cfwebtools.com/index.cfm. The project requires the sub menu to be displayed above the parent menu rather than below. This was accomplished easy enough with CSS. However, now I need to make it so when a sub menu item is selected, that menu remains open. If for example you select Our Services - Destination, the new page will be displayed and that menu will remain.
Previously, when doing this in just CSS if another popup menu was displayed, both would be visible and since the position must be set to relative, both displayed on the same line. So, I added some javascript to set the display to none of the menu that remained open. This works well enough unless you try to select a sub menu item. So, if you have selected Our Services - Destination, hover over About NEI and try to select a sub item. I'm really wondering what the best approach to something like this would be. CSS? Javascript? A combination of the two? If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
