Hi Steve, Just to add to what you've found....
I've been developing my first Farcry web site on our developement machine which is running Windows Server 2003 with IIS6. Now that I'm happy with everything, I've migrated the site to our test server for the client to view. This machine is Windows 2000 server with IIS5. I'm now having the same problem as you are experiencing when loging into the administration area. The front-end is working fine. There were some database settings I needed to change in the "config" table after porting the database, as the server URL and drive mappings are different. I then refreshed the application, but this didn't help either. Will have to speak with our technical guys to see if it's possible to upgrade to IIS6 on the test server.
