I have 3 divisions in the company, each division has their own set of documents such as White Papers, Application Notes and Datasheets (all pdfs).
I figure i can use the category system to associate the documents with specific products and market segments, but.. I am not sure how i might deal with these long term. Right now I am thinking of extending dmFile to allow me to place the pdfs in certain folders and object spefic categories (ie attribute types.. datasheets, white paper, etc.) or perhaps i use the dmfile type as an example and create types like myDataSheet, myWhitePaper and have an attribute that designate the division? or create a bunch of new types such as: div1WhitePaper, div1Datasheet, div2WhitePaper, div2Datasheet, etc. verity collections ofcourse come in to play as I may want to search for whitepapers belonging to division 2 only. ideas? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
