Yes that makes sense and yes this is already in there. ;) When you look at the overview page for an dmhtml page you should see view/add comments and "show archive". The view/add comments links allow you to see comments that have been posted when a change has been made as well as add independent comments about a piece of content. The show archive link allows you to see the comments in relation to changes that have been made as well as preview the previous version of that page and, if necessary, roll back to an archived version of the page. There appears to be a display problem in FC4, which I'll take a look at, but it otherwise this is working in FC4 as well as FC3. Versioning or archiving in FC parlance is a attribute of the properties for a data type. I'm not a hundred percent on this, but I think you need to have VersionID and CommentLog as properties of your data type in order for them to be archived. Hope that helps for general content change versioning.
