Hugo, This conversation should be carried over to the [FarCry-Beta] mailing list (since you are referring to FarCry 4.0 Beta). I'll try to answer some of these in the meantime for you.
> * The wiki (and the web-site) never really lists the > installation requirements FarCry 4.0 is still in Beta, thus the documentation may be sparse in a few areas as they are being developed. Feel free to add to any documentation you see fit to the wiki. > * For FarCry 4 - is CFMX 6.1 even supported The current plan is "not" to support CF6.1 in FarCry 4.0. In FarCry 2.x and 3.x CF 6.1 is supported. And in FarCry 2.3 and 3.x CF7 is supported. However, trying to maintain that cross-API support has taken up more time than developers can devote with CF8 due out later this year (CF7 has been out 2 years now). Thus it's in everyone's best interests to move support to CF7 and the upcoming CF8 so that FarCry is better prepared for scalability as we move forward. Mind you, until Geoff and/or Daemon have officially announced this its still all hearsay, but it is likely to be the final result. --- Jeff Coughlin Web Application Developer http://www.jeffcoughlin.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
