Hi,

FC newbie here.

I'm having a tough time setting up FC to run on a per-virtual host
basis. We use a server CP called Plesk which is very (*very!*) finniky
about how things are done. Each domain is set up as such:

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com
/var/www/vhosts/abc.com
/var/www/vhosts/xyz.com ... etc.

where the http and https roots are set up as such:

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs and
/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpsdocs

for reasons of wonkiness prevention, we cannot place the farcry in
the /var/www/, thus the only place that's 'safe' for us is at /var/
www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs

Now:

1) What steps do I need to take to set up one per domain that uses FC?

2) How do I deal with the fact that some things will be both http and
httpS?

3) Is there a way that I can bypass the mappings by changing something
where I can I simply do some search and replaces in the app and set a
variable such as site_root = 'my/path'; in the application file
somewhere?

All (kind) suggestions and recommendations appreciated.

CentOS Linux, FC 3.0.1, Apache
