If you are looking for a cleaner directory structure you might want to take a look at FarCry 4.0 (currently in Beta 2). It has a much cleaner directory structure and fourQ is now embedded in core. (Please keep in mind that it is still in Beta. Also... If you do decide to use it and have questions, please use the [farcry-beta] mailing list.) /core /plugins /projects This also allows you to place your projects in the "projects" folder similar to what you are trying to do above (this is not possible with earlier versions of FarCry). More details are found in the FarCry wiki and on the downloads page for FarCry 4.0 (codename Gonzales). > I should be able to point CF mappings to > /farcry_framework and under IIS point the > /farcry alias to farcry_framework/farcry_core In FarCry 2 and 3 you need to point the IIS alias (referring to the FC webtop) to "farcry_core/admin". (In FarCry 4 you need to point it to "core/admin" (more details on the Gonzales download page)). > But what is not clear is the docs state that I also need > to do something like this > /farcry/farcry_site1 and /farcry/farcry_site2 In IIS/Apache you need to create your webroot (for the website itself) and point it to "/<projectName>/www" in FarCry 2 and 3. In FarCry 4 you point it to "/projects/<projectName>/www". --- Jeff Coughlin Web Application Developer http://www.jeffcoughlin.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
