Ian, Actually I did search for "oracle" on this group but didn't see any subjects that seemed to apply. Must have skimmed thru them too quickly. I suspected FC was still not Oracle compatible but I keep seeing stuff indicating it is. Like on the FC download page for 3.0.2 it notes "Oracle support introduced for this release." I guess "introduced" means introduced (like Oracle now shows up in the drop-down for the installer) as opposed to compatible.
Anyway, thanks for straightening me out. I'll look thru your posts and keep tinkering.
